The Gavin Bryars Ensemble has performed at Cafe Oto many times over the past few years and always returns with works rarely programmed in other venues and festivals.
This show will include Bryars' unique arrangements of Tom Waits songs from his album Mercy and Grand, led by Bryars on Double Bass, alongside arrangements of songs by Leonard Cohen and Kurt Weill. The Gavin Bryars Ensemble will also perform chamber works from their own repertoire, mixed in to the programme.
